2009 Fugue de Nenin Pomerol - ripe and lush black fruits, with textures of dark cocoa powder, prunes, and earth. Medium bodied, medium acid, moderate finish and very balanced. Drink now over the next 3 to 5 years if you like ripeness and coffee notes. Hold for 10 years if you want more oxidation and mushroom. Showing very well right now, decant for two hours.

Such an intriguing nose - plum compote, smoke, herbs. Candied fruit on the palate, a very attractive wine if not a bit hot.
