
This is good but maturing at a fast pace. It’s pretty much all secondary and tertiary at this point. Fruit is rich, but a tad pruney. Rich, advanced flavors end with some alcoholic pepperiness poking through.

This is the Chianti Classico Riserva. Needs some air to get going. Loads of iodiney minerals and deep, sort of tart dark cherry, and baking spice. Lean and concentrated in the mouth, with forceful acids and substantial but very fine-grained tannin. Drinking well now but is built to keep going several more years.
