Never had a wine that tastes that much like strawberries.

Dark with prominent oak and a slightly roasted and jammy quality. Nice fruit with violets and plum. Overall a slightly bloody experience right now. Maybe with time the wood will settle and the undeniably good fruit will shine more.

Drinking very nicely out of magnum. Beautiful, bright red fruit. Solid amount of acid.

1995 drinking beautifully in 2021. Little funk to it, light, complex, nicely balanced. Paired well with aged ribeye steak.

1.5 hour decant. A sublime very dark garnet color. On the nose: Subtle notes of blueberry, earth, crushed rock, iron, floral, and mushrooms. Taste: A smooth, juicy, power and finesse full body wine with strawberry, spice, earth, black plum, cinnamon...still young with kicking tannins...give it another 3-5 years. Nice price for a grand cru.
