Apparently TLZ is an abbreviation that means “grapes, love and time, the only three ingredients you need in a wine.” Actually though, it turns out you also need some semblance of winemaking ability. This is interesting for a couple of sips as a novelty as your palate attempts to sort out what unholy concoction it’s being assaulted by. Ultimately it’s like sucking spoiled orange juice out of a piece of driftwood. The Strohmeiers sound like lovely people and in all sincerity I hope they enjoyed themselves with all the time they spent not making wine

Fragile red berries, good bottle without flaws.

Tastes more like a bad Orange wine than a Rosé. Strong nose of barnyard, and flavors of spoiled citrus followed by a sour finish. Awful!

Tart. Fresh. Almost effervescent. Tobacco and a smooth finish.
