I've always loved this wine. It's so incredibly underrated! Buy them when you find them! Frank Land River for the win!

2003 vintage showing plenty of fruit & structure. Plenty of life left.

This wine is fascinating to me and how it started off with some distinct green bell pepper flavors and aromas and settle down into a chewy and meaty wine. not a terribly long flavor profile from start to finish but as it opened up in the bottle it was very fun to experience the development when exposed to air. Definitely worth trying and I’ll probably try it again.

Started out tight with good flavors of green bell pepper and firm fruits. The bell pepper flavor faded and what developed was a warm, ripe, toasted stone fruit flavor. Delicious.
