Seemingly faded & too "pickle juicy " at first, but after an hour, much better balance and depth. Not for everybody, but with strong-flavored food very pleasing.

Dark plum, black mission figs, sun dried tomatoes, graphite, ash, roses, baking spices, balsamic. Rounded acidity/narrow dusty tannins, full bodied, plush texture, complex earthy smoky-peppery-herbal finish. Big, rustic, no intervention. Decanting for at least one hour strongly recommended.
