The man the legend Frank Cornelissen, this one is 700lts from 2010 vintage & 1,500lts from 2011 vintage and comes from; Contrada Porcaria, Marchesa Soprana, Charanchello & Monte Colla vineyards......
I simply want to thank all those who criticize Frank and "claim" this is "no wine" so we who love it's great attributes can enjoy more of it

Classic cornelissen. Rust, blood, sexiness.

This is a dirty, dirty mess. If the goal was to ignore fermentation/aging until bottling, this wine hits it out of the park.

I'd heard the stories... But was pleasantly surprised. Spritzy, super hazy, more savory than fruity, more like food than wine. From reading the delectable notes, it sounds like we got lucky with this mag?

(NV but mostly 2010 fruit) All natural Nerello Mascalese; no sulphur. Funky nose of red cherry, liquorice, and dry leaves with a bretty barnyard note. Rich and sweet in the mouth, firm and structured, long finish. Evolved greatly as it decanted. Drink in the next year or two.

All the hot rock cherry pie wrapped in tannin and dunked in acidity, with some extra crazy non-oak cinnamon and clove sprinkles. Do not attempt without food. Brett and VA in check in this bottle. When they're good, they're great. This is great.
