La Veine Bleue de Bacchus Clos Bacchus Côtes du Jura Savagnin

Toasty, nutty, lemony, custard. Hot finish. Savignin

Vibrant lemon, energized acidity, and a quintessential warm Jura nuttiness on the back end (which I don't mind sounding as sexual as it does). Medium bodied and worked well through five of our six courses, including amberjack, gem salad, butternut squash, rigatoni and scallops. I wish I could have written about this while drinking it but the fam has strict PUT UR GOD DAMN PHONE AWAY ROSS! rules (which I agree with).

Alpine, savory, and distinctly Jurassic. Would love to try this in a few years, I imagine there's more complexity beneath the surface.

Fresh, mineral, slate and the smallest hint of almond. Alive and electric.

Lively, pure, complex nose. Smoke, sage. Minerals. Chalky texture

2015. Crazy sherry-like notes.
