The comic sans MS master of Mercurey does it again. His 14’s absolutely thrash. Hugely expressive nose. Big cherry, lipstick like intensity, lovely sous bois, such purity to the aromas. Cherry flower. Just pungent aromas. Juicy and complex with sour tangy mid season cherries and dazzling purity and freshness. Balanced and so much great acidity. Amazingly refined wine that is open now but has so much more to say. Good complexity and a lovely earthy sweetness. Long.

Big, boisterous somewhat wild and untamed nose of wild berries, some sour cherrie, mashed flowers and some sweet violets. Great nose albeit needs 20 minutes to integrate. Terrific freshness and acidity with ample sweetness and detail. Nice structure that suggests 3/5 years this could improve. Lovely wine and Raquillet is a master of Mercurey.

Second bottle i had within 2 weeks much better than the first bottle. Clean nose. Bright cherry flavors. Still a Mercurey but drinking very nicely very bright cherry notes blackberry.

Reduction on the nose but very clean cherry and raspberry fruit from the first sip. Opens up beautifully after an hour or so -- good value for its level.

Quite stinky with morello cherries. Too much sulfur? After a while blackberry cherry tones take over. Very pleasing and appetizing in the glass. Really! tastes like a Mercurey and reminds me of some Faiveley wines. In the glass cherry and tannins and I think limited complexity not long good fun but not a stunner.
