François Parent
Sélection Pomone Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Zinny the dog wonders why I’m drinking something other than his namesake. Well, PN goes better with a ham, potato, and cheese gratin, buddy. Nose is sweetly musky, with cherry ooze fruit and crushed stone as well. In the mouth it’s very soft and velvet-textured. Decent acids and a savory flavor profile. Good length. Hard to quibble with this as a damn fine entry level Burg.
