Full and round but drying out nicely as it sheds its baby fat.

Finishing this year on a touch of perfection with a lovely Chenin beauty - Vive the magic of Loire ! Francois Chidaine is a magician 😃 a lovely wine from biodynamic farming - a rich wine, expressive and fine acidity, it needs to breath and get air at opening getting better with patience 😉

Vintage 2015 | off dry Chenin Blanc with excellent balance and a smell that reveals new impressions every time you take the glass to your nose: honey and minerals are prominent | often a wine really expresses itself in combination with food. This Clos Habert is perfect with the peppery rilettes of local star butcher Jean Maurice Lejeune. Second day, with ham in aspic

Mid Lemon in colour. Aromas of Lemon and Honey with a little herb. This was the Demi-Sec - an unctuous palate with notes of fleshy peach. Medium plus intensity. A lovely delicious wine. Every time I have a Loire Valley wine I write that I should try more!

Soft nose with peaches, white flowers, mellow orange notes. Done steeliness and chalk. Very nice.

First bottle! Sweeter than I would have thought. Voluptuous, orange peel, walnut, chalk and hay. Oily texture. Long, convincing. Ah....the Loire. For something completely different!

One of my favorite Loire producers. Rich, acid, goodness.

Nine-point-one... Eight points for sound old-world fundamentals and "varietal correctness". One point one points for that tasty stank that can't be adequately described...
