Full bodied, rich, blueberry, blackberry, orange (mentioned on bottle and I didn’t believe it). Medium-length, dry finish. Father’s Day wine with mondo’s scallop pomodoro.

Poured like a 5+ year wine. Bright acidic nose, large oak barrel with a caramel top and plum bottom. Very nice 'almost' rounded out acidity, candied cordial, tart fruit(cherry, strawberry)...after a little rigatoni I got stewed oranges... definitely high alcohol

Deep, dark ruby color with crimson edges. Initially quite closed off, the nose shows red and blue fruits. After opening up, it displays dusty rose petals, fresh mowed grass, and Kools. Full bodied stuff here but showing a softer palate than expected. Grilled meats, vibrant strawberry, black cherries, and stewed plums. The rustic quality is the star of the show. Old World leather, Mediterranean spices, and damp earth really highlight what Tuscany can do. A big, burly Brunello that delivers.
