Lovely nose. Cherry, ashes, spices, fall leaves, tar, even cayenne, sweet spices as well. Smells very substantial. Big, ripe and tannic. Nice freshness and purity but a very large scaled wine. Huge concentrated fruit and very dense. Needs 2-4 hours. Judgement slightly deferred. Will come back.

Lighter color and body but surprisingly large tannins and flavors. Aromas of ripe plums, dark cherries and leather. Ripe cherry and Dr. Pepper flavors with some tobacco notes. Powerful with bracing acidity. Long finish with lots of tannin. Solid! Nicely aged.

Sep 15th, 2021Beautiful texture. Cherry cola and plum flavors. Subtle hints of tobacco, leather and oak. Medium body yet subtle and restrained. Long finish and mature tannins that you know are there but are not dominant. Great wine!

Ok. This wine needs 45 minutes. On open way too much va. After 45 it's just freaking delicious. Va dissipates. Then Sweet wood. Great fruit. Spice. Just awesome. Great with a meat dish. Bought from fass selections. All gone so you're hosed.
