This is a very tasty Grenache blend from from Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Showing red and black fruits with light wood, spices, coffee, tobacco, dark chocolates and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate and fruit forward.
This 8 year old is peaking now.
Nice finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

Would go well with a ripe blue cheese. Lively pairing with a ribeye and sweet potatoes. Would do well aging for a few more years to mellow the acidity.
