A blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 2% Malbec & 1% Cabernet Franc, aromas of dark red fruits, spice and nutty notes. Plum and cranberry flavors with espresso, cedar and cacao tones, good balance. Fine tannins that need decanting first, lingering ending with sweet spice notes. Consistent.

Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry and strawberry. A hint of vanilla and florals. On the palate, cherry, vanilla, with a long chocolate and oak finish. Strong tannins. Smooth, not too overpowering. 2012.

2012 at Costco. had the 96' in 2004 and hadn't seen it since. mostly cab but has the sweetness of the other varietals. still good after all of these years!
