Stewed cooked Cherries, meaty, almost charcuterie in the nose. Twizzler licorice notes with red cough syrup tones. Cinnamon spice and over dark. I think they added another varietal to the blend, Syrah or Petit Sirah maybe. Not at all varietally specific. Not my style of wine.

It has a pleasant bouquet that is peppery with hints of black cherry. Very light in the mouth. Uncharacteristic of CA Pinot noirs in a good way ;-)

Well, this one is a bit different than expected for a Pinot. It has a cooked flavor with peppers. The spice note has a bit of a bite. Just not completely smooth.

A nice, well balanced and easy to approach Pinot N. Some Oregonian goodness here with some lively ripe young red fruit and a smoothness that holds this in a great sip from start to finish. Silky vanilla hints towards the middle/end make this an additional treat. I paired this with a nice “Sunday evening” red pasta sauce (pork based) and it was amazing. Enjoying the rest now in the afterglow of the meal and this just extends the pleasure sip after sip....once in a while, the marketing brand labels like this one deliver a hit!
