Has more spice than expected. Otherwise, a fine Pinot — a month ago

Notes include earthy spice, dark cherry. Mild vanilla. On the front end is a hint of old vine followed by mild spicy berrie and some spice on the back end. — 4 months ago

Noticed the light color right away. Very subtle vanilla note with some berry & prune. Expected more oak on the tongue but it had a fine fruitiness with a little hint of metal. Not wowed by it. — 5 months ago

Very leathery feel on the tongue. Lots of grape and some mineral. Not the best of this type. — 6 months ago

Very nice fruity flavor and smoother than expected. Deep red color with nice legs and an earthy note. Picked up a little vanilla note as it opened and had some chocolate flavor at the end. — 3 months ago

BUDDA! Right off the bat, it hits the nose like fresh buttered popcorn. Then there's the plum, dark cherry and a hint of chocolate. On the tongue, it's smooth with a very slight acidic quality on the front of the tongue with some dark chocolate and fruit on the back. Deep red color with strong legs also. If you come across this one, try it — 5 months ago

NOPE! IT'S NOT.
Bought this out of curiosity. Didn't expect to be wowed....and wasn't. The nose is nothing more than a cheap alcohol smell. Initial taste has slight plum, currant & black cherry with a preponderance of metallic or minerally undertones. Definite

Peppery and full bodied with notes of tobacco at first then caramel after it opened. A bit pricey. Enjoyed this at the winery while observing Covid restrictions. (No tastings. Had to buy the bottle.) Nice dark color. Tasted pepper, plum and caramel. — 5 months ago

Right away...much deeper color that the younger 2018 vintage. More noticeable berry and fruit notes. "This one even has legs." More prominent prune taste with hints of currant & berry. Has a more velvet texture that the 2018. — 5 months ago
