2008 vintage. Showing some good evolution less than 10 years after harvest. Vibrant color and striking clarity. Beautiful rose bouquet with creosote. Very broad and expansive on the palate with polished tannins, burst of sour cherry, orange peel on mid palate finishing with fennel and mint. Beautiful wine with lovely brightness and high tension. This will open up tremendously after some air- I recommend trying this on the 2nd day or night. Fit to cellar for another decade, quite easily.

Paola has created a great Brunate in ‘14. Wines from here can be too heavy and intense, but here all’s in place. Impressive considering the vintage, offering tell tale varietal character.
