Limestone soil, eastern morning sun exposure. Steely, dense, mineral.

This is supposed to be their more elegant cru but man there’s a lot of muscle here. I’ll wait 2 years to open my next bottle.

Structured, ripe blue fruit and earth with the occasional dose of VA thrown in.

Earth, big wild berry, chalky minerality and med tannin. Fun stuff.

Great value. Classic varietal and expression of terrior.

They entry level wine from the piedmont this is the best region of this area for this varietal

Deep purple in color (I can only see light through the edges of the glass); cassis, black cherries, and graphite on the nose; medium acidity; high tannins; tastes like raspberries, blackberries, hibiscus, wet gravel, and a hint of black pepper with a long fruity finish. I love this wine. Nellie doesn't Iike it.
