Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2022 pours, a deep, ruby/purple color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with a mix of tart and ripe, mostly black with some blue fruits: black berries, plums, black licorice, Alpine herbs and purple flowers and dried earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium- tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finishes medium. Overall, this is an impressive Dogliani and I’d gladly take more of this in my life. Drink now. — 3 months ago
Interesting to taste. It reminds of some PiWi varieties. Less pleasant to drink and to enjoy. — 3 months ago

Elegant wine from La Morra with taste of raspberries, dried cherries, black tea.
Ripe but not the greatest Barolo I had.

Delicious, not too acidic, shockingly yellow — 2 months ago
2013 vintage. Decanted and tasted immediately and after 30 mins. Reticent nose. Medium-heavy body. Massive flavors and structure. Wouldn’t open it any time soon. Phenomenal now but so so intense. If you can Potsie it for a decade plus, do so. Another reminder as to why Barolo is the wine of kings. 11.01.24. — 3 months ago

Chiara Boschis is the white wizard of modern Barolo. At six years this is tasting amazing, takes about 90 mins to fully flourish but once its there, the wine displays beautiful structure, fine grain tannins, vivid acidity, and a balanced play between perfectly ripe fruit and earthy undertones. My chef friend was kind enough to gift me some fresh black truffle from Piedmont. Can’t begin to explain the harmony in the pairing. Cheers. — 20 days ago
