We decanted for about 1.5 hrs before with this 2015 Pinot. Intense cherry, blackberry aroma followed with spices, and some earthiness near the end of drinking. Nice acidity and balance throughout. We had it in a blind tasting with friends against Arglye reserve PN from Willamette Valley and it came out on top.

Once more Foxtrot succeeds in bringing together old and new world with this delicate, balanced pinot. Still quite a bit of acidity which indicates aging potential. Open and decant an hour before serving.

Finally opening up. This 2010 can still keep many years but already holds its ground against the best burgundies. And still leaves any new world pinot wanting.

The king of Okanagan valley Pinot noirs. Beats hands down every other new world pinot I tried.

2012 vintage. On the dark side of medium ruby. Black cherry, savoury spice and hints of game. Medium bodied and alcohol. The acidity is screeching and out of balance, creating a very bitter mid palate. There's good cherry fruit here, and the finish is medium plus. With air, this opens up with lots of saddle leather and vanilla from the oak, but that acidity kills the pleasure for me. Shame, had some nice characteristics but out of balance.
