A great example of Pinot Noir from the Loire, this was drinking like a premier cru Burgundy. Highly recommended!

Loire Valley (100%) Pinot Noir. Bright garnet color with a ruby core. Bright dried cherry and strawberry aromas with hints of leather, minerals and purple flowers. Red berries dominate the palate with additional notes of baking spices and vanilla. Extremely earthy on the slightly sour finish. Really interesting. Thanks for sharing, Keith S!

A red Sancerre. A summer red. I am a sucker for those. Not as exciting as I was hoping for and probably could do better with a different varietal runner red at a lower price. I probably over-chilled. 7.5
