Petit Le Mont Sauvignon Blanc

Tangerine, grapefruit, jalapeño on the nose, lime zest, little hay, star fruit and amazing acid. This is drinking way above the $14 or so it cost. So much going on. Buy some now.

When a 14$ wine brings joy, it is an accomplishment. Very small production by a chinon maker. Somehow more nuanced & lithe than most Sauvignon blancs from the Loire, less green & more pale stone fruits, like underripe apricot. Perfect acidity. Yowza

Nice wine, good typicity, citrus and herbs on the nose. Lean and direct on the palate, with good verve and minerality. Finishes with steely cut. Good on a hot day for sure.

Light. Unique light color. Very good.

Definitely getting more of this one. Best Sauv Blanc I've had in some time. Great mineral salinity to it. Look forward to my next

This wine is delicious

Semi sweet, legs, pepper, dry

Pretty light. Clean. Pear.

The wine is dry but full bodied and ripe. Enough acidity, though, and warm barrel notes as well. It's very satisfying. Was great with a shrimp and Alfredo pasta.
