Queen of the Sierra Skin Fermented Chardonnay Blend

Kids these days and their “wines”… not for me but great producer. Guess I’m too old lol

Spicy noodles companion.

Abariño, Muscat, Verdelho, and Chardonnay from the Rorick Heritage Vineyard of the Sierra Foothills. Tropical and stone fruits but not fruity, the wine finishes bone dry with a hint of tannin. Neat, approachable orange wine.

Smooth, lightly fruity, not tart, not funky. One of the best orange wines I've had so far

2nd time trying this producer, I found the acidity of both wines overwhelms the terroir. Maybe just me. Bitter orange, strawberry jam. High toned, alcoholic burn.

So enjoyable every time - apricots, strawberries, minerality.

Apricot, citrus, tropical notes. Good balance. Goes down easy.

Tropical perfume. Strong stone fruit. Dusty.

This pink guy was nice and refreshing. Dry and juicy. Notes of stone fruit (peach, apricot) come through. Technically a pink wine, but more reminiscent of a “dusty” white wine.
