Absolutely incredible. A complex wine that is so smooth and drinkable. Initially sweet smelling like a Riesling but unfolds to something completely different.

The owner of this restaurant let us have a taste through Coravin- mature and rich, black cherry and currant fruit with some leather and dusty tannins on the finish. Acidity is still bright, but now I want a ribeye!

Boom, Matthew Rorick beats this weird pitch over the fences. Old vine Portuguese varietals blended to make this stunner a dark and delicious vino. Try it, for it is a beacon of badassery.

Its rare for a red to have this kind of ripe flesh and softness coupled with gamey mineral qualities, at low alcohol, hat's off on this one. 2007.
