Energetic and elegant. Quite primary at the moment, with raspberries and blackcurrants leading the way. Some herbaceous notes too and with air, a touch of white pepper. Lovely over dinner.

The 2021 Teroldego Morei is intense in the glass. Exotic spices and dark, dusty florals offset the crushed stone and dried cherry notes. This floods the palate with masses of ripe red fruit and mineral tones propelled by zesty acidity. Grippy tannins take hold through the finale, allowing inner violet florals and clove notes to carry on. A twang of sour citrus punctuates the experience perfectly. (Eric Guido, Vinous, May 2023)

Been a while since I’ve had this in my glass. Oh how I’ve missed thee! Similar to what I remember about Morei, it carries some nice flesh and roundness to it, seems more open knit. Finessed and elegant, brimming with purity and freshness. Crushed morello cherry, pomegranate, blood orange, juniper, bitter herbs, rocks, licorice root, smoke. I want to say its too young but its energy and refreshing nature make it hard to argue keeping it.

Lovely and unique Trento grape from a terrific producer. Plenty of alpine brightness, tart cherry with savory overtones. Low alcohol, food friendly, organic. What’s not to like?

These wines are simply amazing. There is a transcendent quality that is mesmerizing. Racy, feral, brambly, floral. The purity and alpine terroir are beautiful.

Damn. Racy acidity and bramble. Loads of tart cherry. Needs food and goes best with pizza 😉

A sappy wine bursting with a bouquet of roses and violets over cherry licorice and smoldering clay. At first sip the fruit is primary but swiftly fills the mouth with layers of ripe, brambly forest berries and the long, electric finish one expects from Alpine wine. 🌹🌳 🍒 💥

It has bigger structure than Sgarzon but the fruit cannot fill the space, although not light and thin.
