This was a fun wine for the money. It was designed to pair and perhaps not stand on its own but very good non the less!

Alone, it's almost a little bitter, definitely thick with tannins. I'd recommend fattier cuts of beef with buttery starches, baked brie, or a dark chocolate with some berry sweetness to pair.

Not as good as the other two Foodies wines I've tried that were surprisingly good for the price but I'd say it's drinkable.

Great. Easy to drink. Subtle cab but cabby none the less.

Went well with our New York Strip, but it is definitely a wine that must be paired well to truly shine. Finished the bottle the next day by itself, not nearly as good.

Its awfully fruity for a cab. Hardly any tannins, and on the sweet side. But for the price its drinkable

First wine we've rated. Vicky said its plain and can definitely see it being a good food wine. Label says black currant, violets, and a dash of black pepper. Other reviews said it has trouble standing by itself, but the bottle I got stands up just fine. No wobbling or nothin! Got it at World Market and then went to The Melting Pot for "Date Hour" where Vicky's glass there cost more than this bottle.
