A more modern style of Barolo. Distinct flavor of anise on the finish.

Love the aromatics. Cigar box, dried herbs and ripe red fruit

Good basic Barolo.

Medium + aromas of violet, cloves, vanilla, red cherry, lavender, and dried figs. On the palate, vanilla and leather with a long finish.

PnP’d. Medium red color with slight browning on the edges. Massive burning wood on the nose. Wine is extremely tannic. Flavors of strawberry, cigar box, and subtle metallic elements. Medium minus finish that is biting.

Their flagship wine. Held on to this one for a while to see how some additional age would affect it. Decanted for an hour. Absolutely beautiful. Cherries, tobacco, cedar, violets and baking spices. Soft texture. Light body with vanilla and leathery licorice notes on the long finish. Fantastic!

Opened the bottle two hours before dinner. Quite nice Barolo. Ready to drink.
