Another Barolo from #pghwinefestival. Very elegant style. At a nice point on its long arch. 🌹

Quite inky still. Dark morose red fruit. Hints of drying wood at the edges. Quite broad and complex. Resolved but certainly still fresh. Roses. Very good.

One of the best bottles of the 90 La Rosa I've had.

Drink from 2015-2033. Notes of bright cherry, oak, and lemongrass.

Incredibly gorgeous wine. Enticing aromatics of rose petals, dark fruits, wisps of smoke. Elegant. Still young with massive potential.

Ripe and modern.

Small sandy soil explains the unigue elegance of La Rosa being a great cru of Serralunga. 1st year year in 2nd & 3rd year barrique, 2nd year in large casks. Extremely elegant, flowery layers on top of excellent red fruit and spices, delicate acidity. Massive potential for decades of ageing.

Going to be a stellar vintage!
