Smells of a juicy ripened pluot

First sip is saline, caramel, blackberry, dried fig, menthol and currant. Medium in weight, a very appealing mouthfeel. The tannins are enough to keep the tobacco and licorice flavors from coming in stronger, and the fruit driven acidity wraps this up quite nicely and allows the long lingering flavours to persist well on.
Yum.

Fruit leather mashed and baked on slate stone.
This follows from my inhalation to first strike on the pallet, followed by Texas red grapefruit Pith, heavier bodied fresh leather, and a tabac filled barn.

The first reviewer was spot on, this needs air!
Another Garagiste Joint.

Enjoying at Hershey Lodge. Fairly well balanced and drinking well now. Everyone enjoyed these bottles tonight.

Color of nice purple, different shades, not too dark. Nose of vanilla, milk chocolate, prune and cherry, nice oak and aldehyde, and a bit mint. Taste is silky with nice salty mineral and slightly sweet. Some more ripe grapes and oak on the 2nd sip. Also present are soft tannins, cherry, a bit zest, and some more vanilla. Tasty and well balanced. Sip after sip.

Bought on sale for $14. Wife loves this black cherry, BlackBerry, plum, vanilla, and subtle cedar flavors. Great PQR!

This definitely needs air and time. Much better on night two. Good fruit, tannins, cocoa, spices, but a little too much oak for my liking. I’m interested to see how it evolves in the other bottles.
