For a relatively large producer, I find Flowers consistently good and still reasonably priced

Amazing how different (but still great!) two different expressions of the Sonoma Coast can be!

Surprisingly big fruit for sonoma coast Flowers, tropical, lemon, lemon curd, slight vanilla, hazelnut and honeyed character. Well developed wine with some complexity and solid acid support. 4 of us drank in about 20 mins! Delicious..

Wednesday Wine Committee. Great hosting by Gavin. 1 sparkler, 4 whites, 4 reds and 2 dessert wines. All served blind as usual.

This was just kind of meh. It wasn’t great, nor was it bad. Just a “fine” wine. Honeysuckle, sea shell, faint citrus fruits and a kiss of oak. I also found my glass to have quite a bit of bubble/lift to it which was unique. I called this Sonoma chardonnay.

Nice summer Chard. Initially high on acidity but settles down into lemon, green apple, light oak goodness.

Very subtle for Napa chard...could use a touch more acid but nice
