Lean, mean, crisp apple and lemon oil, fresh herbs, intensely marine-influenced minerality and salinity. Lovely Chenin-like wooliness and energizing acid on the palate. Bravo to my friend @Erik Longabardi on this profound expression of Long Island history and terroir.

This is nice. A lot of seaside smells and flavors with tart apples and lemon.

My first still cider, from Long Island or otherwise. In the glass it looks and smells much like many natural wines I’ve had. The palate reminded me of apple peel, slightly waxy with hints of tart apple and lemon.
