Very savory, dirt, tobacco, mushrooms. Nice structure too, just want a bit more fruit.

A delicious Bordeaux with dark berries, plum and hints of tobacco.

Front palate dried flowers/potpourri with lavender and plum.

Well made, but just not a fan.

Drank it too young. Tight tanins loosened slightly with decanting, but really needs another few years.

Excellent second label from Château Fonplegade! Earthly, plum, spice, with licorice, coffee, tea, and tobacco notes.... I love how this wine is intense but still fairly elegant. The tannins are perfect enough to still be velvety on the palate while still delivering a nice long finish. This is the wine that brings me back to St. Emilion walking the cobblestone streets and the magnificent view from Château du Roy. Oh how I miss France...... Santè!

Nariz: Fruta madura, ciruela y blackberry. Mineral, tierra. Spicy. Toque leve
de madera.

Boca: Blackberry, frambuesa, ciruela. Toque de madera. Astringente, taninos M+. Un poco duro todavia. ( B Fernandez)

First time I drank it, I thought it was really good, but this time I lowered the rating from 9 to 7.5 as it now tastes very sweet and thick.
