Ceretto allow him to make wine under his own label on the side. A well made correct medium bodied rendition showing red fruits and fine powdery tannins. A great match with Fettuccini Puttanesca.

Roses, red fruits, tarragon, pomegranate molasses, red liquorice, touch of leather, rusty nails and slight earthy yeasty complexity. Medium plus acid. Medium just plus Lacey tannin. Doesn’t build. Amaro finish.

Violet, Barney purple. Aromas of cedar and cinnamon. Tanneries and countryside. Cloves and boozy watermelon.
Dry, tannic, muted acidity. Herbal quality. Nice, but waiting for it to open up.
