Shiraz 2008 from Barossa, Australia, 14,5%. I am a Syrah lover, and I truly enjoyed this one! Aged in new wood which gives intense cocoa and chocolate scents. In the mouth the tannins are smooth and vibrant.

On the palate flavors of black cherry preserves and blackberry, layering in some licorice, leather, tobacco and black pepper spice. Heavy alcohol taste, but smooth out very quickly. Deep Ruby color, lovely warm and well rounded on the palate. Great Costco buy and would absolutely get this again.
