Hm. Thought for a second it might have gone "off" from the nose, which God help me, smelled a bit of wet dog. But the taste has notes of chocolate, almost pruney plums, and blackberries. Yum. Happy Malbec World Day, my fellow winos.

Plum jam nose, boysenberry and rich high altitude fruits. Small tannins help tie this Malbec together, as an easy going crowd pleasing wine. Drink young.

Apr 2nd, 2017Spicy, with nice pepper and fruit. Pleasantly deep for me. There's a bit of oak, but not too much. A bit of Sweet Mother alcohol, but she folds into the profile. Nom. Especially for $13.
