Did love this one. It was too fruit-forward. Black fruits would have been fine, but this had notes of overripe strawberries and red cherries.

The nose is faint, but I smell plums and a hint of smoke. We were divided on this one. My fiancé really disliked this at first. I enjoyed it. This wine is chewy, ripe, and round. Time in the glass mellowed it. The palate has fruit with herbal notes in the finish.

So drinkable and enjoyable, nice weight , good complexity, fleshy fruit

Intense bouquet of rhubarb. Stewed fruits, tart berries. Slightly silky but thin mouth feel. Not enough complexity in finish. But passable.
