Darkly opaque wine with legs and sediment noted. Lighting is insufficient, but the color still appears to be ruby. Nose is medium intensity with developing notes of smoke, graphite, toffee, and coffee. Lots of spices and orange blossom water lift the aromas into a beautiful category. Palate is dry and mouthcoating. Acidity and alcohol are medium or a bit lower than expected. Tannins are fine but firm. Love! Black fruits and graphite stand out beautifully in this excellent wine. Mid palate is strong and the finish is nicely long. This is an outstanding wine with plenty of room to continue improving.
