Lovely wine. While I’ve enjoyed domestic Nebbiolo in the past, this is my first time enjoying a true Piedmont Barbaresco. I love the medium body and drying tannins. Lately I’ve shied away from “big red” wines, and it’s so nice to find another red that I can heartily enjoy. I may have opened this 2014 too soon, but i still love this wine. Patience is lost on me.

Bright acidity red fruits and plum. Elegant and polished instead of rich in texture. Paired great with salmon dish.
