Estate Red Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

A second day wine...still a little disjointed.

Seemed better than the '09. Cedar and tobacco aromas. Dark cherry, plums, and licorice. Great structure with good acidity and firm tannins.

Drinking well now but could go longer. However, I don’t feel it will improve. If anything more secondary notes.

Started great with intense oak that was well integrated with dark fruit. But it finished a bit unbalanced.

Our favorite Figgins blend. 2011. A tough year but Chris Figgins turned it into a gem. Minerally. Full body, rich mid palette with a sweet edge, evolving into a dry, grippy finish with with minerals edging the experience. Perfect with aged Gouda cheese.

Earth and oak - subtle blackberry - soft tannins. Velvet on the way down!

2011 in 2017. Nice, could’ve waited a bit longer though.

Balsamic, suede, crushed black peppercorns, cherry Twizzlers.

Really an excellent bottle of wine. Well balanced and quite delicious.

This 2012 will age for years. Lush complex fruit. Pretty near perfect
