Like a less serious, more fun orange wine.

Weird in many ways. Certainly the expected orange tint, but clear with some suspended particulates. More strange are the swirling distortions, presumably stratified layers of undisolved oils or acids. Nose is soapy with apricot and rotten pear. Across the palate it delights with slight effervescence, the fine tingle bolstering the wine’s spriteliness. Oily, perhaps rancid butter? But it’s good? Pear is pronounced.

Not quite sure how I feel about it, but kept drinking it. Unique flavor.

Low intensity on the nose, but what’s there makes it obvious this so mostly Chenin Blanc, with melon, orchard fruit, and some ginger. Fairly simple all around, though drinkable and pleasant after some air. Deep yellow color and nice mouthfeel.

Skin contact orange Chenin, Ries, PG. 2019 in 10/20. Aromatically exciting with melon ,stone fruit, citrus but all of the mid palate was missing. Bone dry. Light, acidic, tannic and lacking any fruit where I wanted it. I was excited about the blend but.....even revisited day 3 with same experience. WF
