My aha wine. Love anything out of Red Mountain and this guy delivers on that note. Flush with red and black fruit. That distinctive taste that can’t put into words, but you know it when you taste it. It just says Red Mountain.

Nose of this is 100% Kit-Kat bar. This is the only thing that came to mind. The entry is soft, well rounded, black fruits, dates and herbed nuts. Finishes with a hint of toasted cedar. This wine will continue to develop and I think it will be singing in 5 years. Today, not bad for sure. Feel this one will achieve 93-94 but solid 91 now.

Last tried this 2 years ago and it showed beautifully then with similar notes this evening. After a 90 minute decant the plum, spice and tobacco notes were front and center. In the glass a dark purple hue and the palate, more plum, blackberry and very fine-grained tannins ride along the finish. Have had a few of these Fidelitas offerings now, serious stuff and great value here.

Subtle dark cherry notes. It's smooth and balanced.

Wine of the night, 2016. Decanting is a must! 90 minutes was all this beauty needed to show what Washington State is capable of producing. Glad to know there are 3 more laying down to enjoy in the years ahead.
