Strong in alcoholic taste. Almost has a rubbing alcohol smell. It’s a light wine with an earthy touch. Good to par with heavy foods and strong stinky cheese.

Drinking the 2014 in 2018. Deep, dark rich color. Excellent legs. Very nice bouquet, earthy with hints of cherry and black pepper. Medium tannins. Smooth flavor with lots of fruit and earth. Hints of pepper.

Full bodied, southern Italian. Made in a modern style with oak and full tannins. Fresh, forward acidity you expect in an Italian wine. Nose of cinnamon, tobacco, leather, dark cherry. Enjoyable lesser drunk grape varietal.
