Love Ferren’s work in Pinot and their Rosé all with some age. Chardonnay’s are good but I’m just not a huge fan of Ca Chardonnay for the most part. Take French white burgundy over almost all of them.

Their Rosé is very clean on the palate with a bit of age. Takes out the sweetness. Tangerine bitters, rhubarb, peach, orange rhine, strawberries, dry top soils, limestone chalk, volcanics, caramel & vanillin haze, pink and red roses. Excellent acidity with a well balanced and polished finish.

Very different from our prior bottle. While the nose is consistent with citrus fruits like grapefruit and lemon peel, the palate displays tension, driven by high acidity. Not enjoying this tonight, actually. I’m now desperately in search of fud. Hopefully, this will turn the corner with air.

First time trying this - well made.
Nose displays strawberries. Palate offers up hints of orange peel. Textured on the mid palate, with moderate acidity and grapefruit notes. Overall, very well done. Even better in the summer, I’m sure.

The nose reveals, notes of cotton candy, candied & floral; strawberries, watermelon, cherries, some tangerine, black raspberries/cherries & raspberries. Cola & licorice, mid fruit roll ups, beautiful volcanic minerals, powdery chalky notes, very light dry herbal notes, saline, candied fruit blossoms and pink roses.

The body is full, thick and slightly gummy with just a smidge of frizzante. It’s delicious. Cotton candy, candied & floral; strawberries, watermelon, cherries, white peach, some tangerine, black raspberries/cherries, pink grapefruit w/ a touch of sugar & raspberries. Cola & licorice, mid fruit roll ups, beautiful volcanic minerals, powdery chalkiness, faint crushed rocks, limestone, very light, dry herbal notes, saline, candied fruit blossoms and pink roses. The acidity is round and like a waterfall. The long, delicious, well balanced finish is nicely persistent.

Happy Friday the 13th & full Moon! 🌕

Yeah...this is really delicious.

If you like Paper Planes style, this is a similar style but, fuller, richer with more pronounced saline & minerality.

The nose reveals, floral, ripe, slightly candied fruits of; steamed strawberries, summer, lean jolly rancher watermelon, cherries, tangerine, blood orange, black cherries, black raspberries, slightly, baked rhubarb, steamed, white spice, cream soda, vanillin, hints of ginger with pink rose pedals with in a field of spring flowers.

The palate has nice richness, ripeness with excellent viscosity. The fruits are, candied, gummy, ripe and freshness. Steamed strawberries, summer, lean jolly rancher watermelon, cherries, tangerine, pomegranate, blood orange, black cherries, black raspberries, slightly, baked rhubarb, orange rind, pink grapefruit with pith, white spice with just the right amount of heat, lava volcanics, excellent, choppy chalkiness, cream soda, vanillin, hints of ginger with pink rose pedals with in a field of spring flowers. The acidity is like shooting fresh mountain river rapids. The really long finish is; well knitted, harmony fruit & earth with polish, elegance that is persist for several minutes.

Appreciate the 11.8 ABV.

@Dawn E. highly recommend their 18 for you. 👍
