This Pinot seems more heavy-handed than the usually elegant effort from Ferrari-Carano. It is a bit more in the "wannabe-Syrah" camp, we'll made but heavy. A bit too much oak and syrupy sweetness for my taste but this will definitely appeal to those who like a full -blown style

A little high on the alcohol for my tastes. A darker, less complex Pinot than I like.

Peppery, cherry, cranberries. Rosemary pairs well. Duck, figs, pork chops.

A very good Pinot Noir, but compared to other Pinots made at this winery and in the area….it is just so so.

Very lacking... I think was a case of buying wine after a good tasting experience, as opposed to buying a good wine. Very disappointing for the price.

Strong nose of dark cherries, cola and sassafras. Think somewhere between cherry cola and root beer. Very thin and unexciting on the palate with no finish. Too much alcohol, not enough acid.
