Generically fruity on the nose this one had a great tannin structure. Strict but pleasant and lots of red fruit. Got me thinking of nice nothern Italian wine.

Etna Rosso is quickly becoming my new obsession. Tart cranberry and cherry is balanced by dried savory herbs, compost, and puckering acidity.

Straying from Rhone to Etna Rosso - if I made Italian varieties would want it to be like this! Bright cherry note, mouth watering acid and a mix of minerality and soft tannins. Perfect pairing wine

the 14 is odd and different than her other vintages but is changing in compelling and surprising ways - like a child that goes down strange and meandering paths only to travel themselves to a place where they flourish and become the genius that they were destined to be

At first a very mineral/smokey wine with a lot of savory meaty notes up front, a little reductive. Slowly became to evolve into a more fruit centric wine with lots of black raspberry, cherry and pomegranate tones. Still that underpinning of forest, meat, sagebrush, and spices. This Etna aligns more with PN than Neb. Soft and silky tannins, perfumed, bright acid.

I liked this vintage much more than I have previously. Oak more restrained and the volcanic notes more pronounced, still a bit loose and juicy, but a strong effort/result.

Red cherry, raspberry, cola, vanilla. A nice effervescence on the palate. Reminded me of a Pinot Noir from Carneros.

Refined and structured. Bright and elegant, opens up to darker cherry, tobacco, rose petal. A winner from Mt. Etna
