Pretty, boysenberry concentrate and espresso grounds, classy oak and aniseed. Strawberry rhubarb savvy, pomegranate crack, and clove - vaped, not smoked 🚬 , yo. Nice acid snap and just-astringent-enough tannin, soulful terroir suggestion and, generally, quite seductive. In short - yes, I will go home with you. #gameover

Still has substantial structure and fine tannins. Dark fruits, bitter Cherry, minerality and a brooding finish. Best with food. Not really a stand-alone sipping wine.

Feb 24th, 2018Well , No spice, very dry, too expensive-40 bucks. Very dry, slightly sour. Almost like a California pinot noir. Don't buy this wine

Feb 24th, 2017Lots of vanilla, sweetness, oak on the nose. Smells like a cave wine is aged in. Smooth balance between acid and tannins. Sour cherries, red fruits, dominate palette, but still has some bright fruitiness. Medium+ acid, medium viscosity, a little staining. Has more heft than you might expect from a Chianti that could allow it to be paired with heavier foods.
