Nov 25th, 2017My bottle may have been compromised. The bottle was asleep, with a pepper flavor in the finish and no fruit up front, but a hint of oxidized pruny flavor that became stronger over time. This wine is usually very strong but this bottle had almost no flavor.

Very young, decanted for 90 minutes.
Volcanic, Smokey, and blackberry. The definition of a volcanic wine. Love these rustic type wines.
