Absolutely wonderful! Rich tobacco on the nose and soft cocoa powder like tannins on the pallet. Highly recommend this wine, especially if you are eating tomato based Italian food!

2014 was supposed to be a bad year and YET this wine is freakin nice. Ripe and floral. It's a crossover wine with appeal from all sides. Value is over the top.

Deep ruby. Red cherries, green strawberries, and freshly cracked black pepper on the nose. Medium tannins, medium minus acidity. Semi cured tobacco, dried cherries in liquor, fresh earth on the palate. It has good body but not overpowering or bracing. There was a lot more fresh fruit notes when opened a few hours ago. I would be curious to see how a couple years changes it.
