Morello cherry, sage, under brush, violets, leather. Elegant, fine tannins, brisk acid that never overwhelms. A touch of VA offers some lift without being too intrusive. Lovely value, killer with food.

Last one in the cellar. Penultimate bottle was back in Nov ‘18. Gave that a 9.1. Fruit is at the early stage of decline so I’d suggest to Drink Up. Paired it with grilled Italian chicken sausages and a simple green salad. La vita è bella!

Well it’s been a while and I haven’t rated or shared my thoughts on a wine for some time now. But we are coming into my favorite time of year in New England where I enjoy a fall night out on the deck with a nice cigar and a solid wine. I received this wine as a gift. I’m not naturally drawn to Chianti’s but this may change my mind. Deep, earthy with solid fruit. This Chianti can hold its own next to a nice Maduro Cigar. It has a smoothly velvety finish with strong fruit on the back end. Hints of leather and small spice round off the fruit and make you want for more. Enjoy this to finish your week with a relaxing wine. Suggestion: play some smooth jazz or Sinatra in the background. Nice to be back! 😀

A lovely Chianti Classico. Very clear cherry red. Nose of bright fruit and pleasant oak. A very nice blend of red fruit, spices, leather, bound together with soft tannins

We had this gem at C&O Cucina. It was enjoyable. The waiter said this was their best wine.

Я не большой любитель кьянти, но этл меня впечатлило. Это вино показывает всю типичность зонны классико. В арамате много смолы и древисины
